Born in South Korea but I grew up all over the United States as a military 'brat'. I have been surrounded by firearms all my life due to my father's extensive military service. I learned my firearm fundamentals at and early age from my father, James, who's impressive Naval service as a Chief Gunners Mate included Weapons Division lead Petty Officer, Shipboard Small Arms Allowance supervisor, training of security and standing duty armorer.  My father was also in charge of Mount 52 left gun, twin Mark-12 5"/38 caliber gun on the USS New Jersey BB62 and was a qualified expert on the 1911 .45 cal pistol, expert M-14 & a sharpshooter on M-16.

Coming from this background, I started shooting at a very young age often competing for fun with my father's military buddies. This tradition has carried into my life - having taught firearm safety and proper firearm handling to my 4 children as well as extended family. I continues to shoot in his free time and enjoys learning all I can about techniques and shooting styles.
